Navidea’s investment in R-NAV, LLC (R-NAV) of approximately 31% is being accounted for using the equity method of accounting. Navidea’s equity in the loss of R-NAV was $27,000 and $262,000, respectively, for the three-month periods ended September 30, 2015 and 2014. Navidea’s equity in the loss of R-NAV was $295,000 and $262,000, respectively, for the nine-month periods ended September 30, 2015 and 2014. The Company’s obligation to provide $500,000 of in-kind services to R-NAV is being recognized as those services are provided. The Company provided $27,000 and $21,000, respectively, of in-kind services during the three-month periods ended September 30, 2015 and 2014. The Company provided $54,000 and $21,000, respectively, of in-kind services during the nine-month periods ended September 30, 2015 and 2014. As of September 30, 2015, the Company has $408,000 of in-kind services remaining to provide under this obligation. |
